What are you currently doing to improve yourself?

  • Recognize a minor inconvenience for what it is. Minor. Your blood pressure will be a lot lower.
  • Try to respond to people by assuming they mean the best, not the worst.
  • Be kind to everyone. you never know what other people are going through.
  • Remember that each person is the main character in their own story of life. Everyone has hopes and dreams. That guy standing next to you had a bad day at work and all he wants to do is get home to enjoy his favorite dinner.Basically just remember that people around you aren't 2D characters. They are complex individuals.
  •  Get into a good oral hygiene routine. Nobody likes nasty breath.
  • Read something you learn from every day. Just a single Wikipedia article or something. Never stop learning new shit.
  •  Procrastinate as little as possible. Train your mind to work on autopilot so you can get things done that need to be done immediately. You'd be surprised how much time you waste actually worrying and thinking about doing things you don't want to do.
  • I always like to assume a person is a good person until they do something that makes me think otherwise. Basically, don't judge people until you get to know them.
  • Telling the truth. The more you work on that, the more you start to hold yourself accountable. Makes such a difference.
  • Reflect. Don't make the same mistakes in life .
  • Fix your posture.
  • Meditate! It seems that a lot of the people who PM me come with untreated issues related to stress or anxiety; having somewhere to channel or relieve these things are an amazing tool in becoming/remaining mentally stable.
  • Make eye contact with people as you walk. Doing this, and acknowledging them with a nod or a smile, or a, "Good morning/afternoon," will help build confidence over time.
